Conference Details and Registration
The 39th EIBA Annual Conference will take place in Bremen, Germany, from Thursday, December 12th to Saturday, December 14th 2013 – hosted by the University of Bremen. On Thursday, the 27th John H. Dunning Doctoral Tutorial in IB and the 2nd EIBA Doctoral Symposium (among other pre-conference events) will take place before the main conference begins – as will the EIBA Board Meeting. The historic “Obere Rathaushalle” will host the EIBA 2013 Opening Reception on Thursday evening. From there, you are ideally situated to take a short stroll over to the Christmas market, and perhaps continue on to the Schnoor Viertel or Schlachte promenade to finish off the evening with a delicious dinner. On Friday and Saturday, the EIBA 2013 plenary and parallel sessions will be hosted on the University of Bremen campus. Sessions will take place in our newly-renovated rooms, and our catering service will provide refreshments on site. Buffet lunches will be served in a separate area on campus (only a 2-minute walk away from the conference location). Friday evening will be free of scheduled social events, but several offers by our tourism-partner BTZ are available for those who are interested. Following Saturday’s plenary and parallel sessions and the EIBA General Assembly meeting, the EIBA 2013 Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony will take place in the extravagant atmosphere of the Park Hotel – once a Duke’s country residence, now a superb hotel and event location in Bremen.
The EIBA 2013 conference fees include admittance to all sessions, keynotes and plenaries. Also included in the fees are coffee breaks and lunches on the Friday and Saturday, as well as the Gala Dinner on Saturday night (although you must select this event separately upon online registration). For your travel convenience and budget, free tram tickets for the 3-day EIBA 2013 conference period are also covered by the conference fees.
Note that if you are a PhD student, you must bring a current and valid proof of status with you to Bremen (e.g., a signed letter from your PhD advisor) in order to confirm your eligibility for the reduced conference rates.
Early-bird registration is available until October 20th (23:59hrs.) – afterwards, a late fee of +100€ will be charged on top of all conference fees.

Online Registration
The online registration is now closed! For further registration, please contact Ms. Biegemann: eiba2013@witago.com.
We cannot ensure you will be eligible to all events. Thank you for your understanding!
- Although included in the fees posted for EIBA 2013 conference, this year, the Gala Dinner (for the Saturday evening social program) can be selected optionally by delegates – although we do hope you will attend!
- We apologize for any inconvenience due to the extra steps involved – and ask you to carefully complete the online registration form, making sure to include (click on) all of the options you wish to select, prior to proceeding to payment.
- For those selecting the lower PhD rates, current proof of status must be shown on-site at the registration desk in Bremen (e.g., a signed letter from your PhD advisor or a valid student ID card) in order to confirm your eligibility for the reduced fees (else the higher fees will apply and be imposed). Please don’t forget to bring this proof with you to the conference!
- Payment from within Germany is possible by bank transfer or bank collection only. If you are a resident of any other country, you must pay with credit card (Mastercard or Visa).
